Ice Loloh

Ice Loloh is originally from Bangli, Bali, and is a very healthy beverage. This is the simple recipe for an Ice Loloh that you can make at the home.

Ingredients

  • bunch of ambarella leaves
  • 1 cinnamon
  • one tablespoon of tamarind
  • 300 gram young coconut meat
  • 1 chilli
  • 8 tablespoons of palm sugar
  • two pinches of salt
  • 1 liter of warm water
  • bunch of ice

How to Cook

Place ambarella leaves, cinnamon, tamarind, chili, and water into a blender.

Strain and make sure there are no leaves inside the water.

Add salt, palm sugar and stir.

Add coconut meat and ice.

Ice loloh is ready to serve.

You can add more palm sugar/honey for the sweetness and ambarella leaves can be replaced with sweet leaves.
