Embrace Cambodia: 15-Day Cultural & Volunteer Adventure 2026
Embrace Cambodia: 15-Day Cultural & Volunteer Adventure 2026
A women-only guided adventure that pairs cultural immersion with hands-on volunteer work, running October 31 to November 14, 2026. Led by Women Embrace Adventure in partnership with Restore One Charity, this 15-day journey moves from Phnom Penh through the rural villages of Kampong Thom Province to Siem Reap — ending with four days in the city at the heart of the Angkor world.
The core of the trip is five days of volunteer work at Restore One’s community school in one of Kampong Thom’s poorest villages. Participants assist teachers, run hygiene workshops, paint classrooms, and build alongside local families. No experience needed — just willingness. Each participant fundraises AUD $1,300 (separate from tour cost), which goes directly to teacher wages, classroom supplies, and building projects. Past Cambodia teams have collectively raised over $70,000 for the program.
The journey arrives in Siem Reap on November 10. Over four days, participants rise before dawn for sunrise at Angkor Wat, visit the APOPO landmine-detection rat project, explore heritage galleries, and have free afternoons to discover the city’s markets, spas, and street food. Accommodation is at the Aviary Hotel, centrally located near the Old Market.
This trip is designed for women 18 and over who want an experience that gives something back. Group size is capped at 14 to keep it personal. Balance is due July 27, 2026 — early booking is essential.
Tour cost is AUD $3,995 per person twin share. Fundraising commitment: AUD $1,300. International flights and travel insurance are not included. A AUD $600 deposit secures your place. Book at womenembraceadventure.com.au.
