One of the small pleasures of life in Siem Reap is the fruit. It is everywhere — piled high on carts, arranged on market tables, handed to you in a bag still cool from the morning. And dragonfruit, with that electric pink skin and speckled white flesh, might be the most photogenic of them all.
This particular vendor was impossible to walk past without stopping. A motorbike loaded to the brim, parked right on the sidewalk, doing brisk business in the afternoon sun. He was happy to pose for the camera. Sweet, refreshing, and about as fresh as it gets.
