Hariharalaya Holiday Retreat 2026
Hariharalaya Holiday Retreat 2026
The Hariharalaya Holiday Retreat is a six-day immersive yoga and meditation course held December 21–26, 2026, at the Hariharalaya Retreat Centre near Angkor in Siem Reap. It is a special holiday edition of Hariharalaya’s signature Yoga of Awareness program — a rare chance to spend the year-end season in stillness rather than noise.
The retreat runs from check-in at 10am on December 21 through to departure on the morning of December 26 after breakfast. Each day includes guided yoga and breathwork sessions, sitting meditation, creative and community activities, and time in the natural surroundings of the campus. Meals are freshly prepared vegan cuisine, and Wi-Fi and screens are left behind entirely — a full digital detox for the duration.
Included in the retreat is an early-morning journey to Angkor Wat for sunrise — one of the most quietly powerful experiences available to any visitor in Siem Reap. You’ll also receive a traditional Khmer monk water blessing and one complimentary healing massage. The campus itself is set in a peaceful traditional Cambodian village, about 15 minutes from Angkor Wat, with yoga shalas, a swimming pool, lotus ponds, art studio, and tree house.
The retreat is limited to 16 participants and sells out well in advance. Rooms range from shared house to private bungalow, villa, and suite. A 25% deposit secures your booking, with flexible date change or transfer up to 30 days before the retreat. The November-to-April season rate applies for this retreat.
For travelers who find themselves in Siem Reap around the holidays and want something more restorative than a party, this is a considered alternative — structured days, genuine quiet, and a small group environment. Arrive a day or two early in Siem Reap to settle before check-in day. Airport pickup is available for $30 USD, with a complimentary transfer from central Siem Reap on the morning the retreat begins.
