The 2025 Cambodia Book Fair will be held from December 11–14 at Koh Pich, welcoming dignitaries from Malaysia, ASEAN member states, and the current ASEAN Chair. Organised with support from key ministries, NGOs, private institutions, and the Cambodian Writers Association, this year’s fair will be more inclusive and dynamic than ever. Around 300 booths will showcase new titles from publishers and cultural institutions alongside special literary programmes for National Writers’ Day. Despite the rise of digital media and AI, organisers highlight that Cambodians—especially youth—continue to value books and reading. The public is encouraged to attend, explore, and support literacy by purchasing books for themselves and the next generation.
