Lost City Jazz Society
Lost City Jazz Society
The Lost City Jazz Society is exactly what it sounds like: an occasional jazz night in a wood-fired pizza place by the river. The venue’s own event page bills it as a “(not-so) secret” jazz society — one of the better live-music evenings in Siem Reap, and one that comes around only now and then.
The quartet is Alex on keys, Andrey on bass, Chema on drums, and Euan on saxophone and vocals. The organisers describe the night as “a relaxed night of quartet jazz — a few standards, a few surprises, plenty of space for things to stretch out.” The room is small, the sound is close, and the audience is a mix of Khmer regulars, long-term expats and travellers who wandered in for a pizza and stayed for the second set.
The venue is Lost City Pizza Society, riverside beside the Art Market bridge — thin-crust, wood-fired pizza, local craft beer and cocktails. You do not need a ticket, but the room is small, so it is worth arriving early if you want a table.
The next session begins at 7:00pm on Thursday 16 July 2026 — the venue’s first Jazz Society night since April. The Jazz Society does not run to a fixed monthly rhythm: editions appear when the players are all in town, and they are announced on the Lost City Pizza Society Facebook page a week or two ahead. If you are in Siem Reap and one lands during your stay, go.
